Program Overview
The Adventure Club is for Pre-K - 8th Grade homeschool families to get together for social skills, movement, STEAM, & outdoor hiking. The program runs September 2021 - May 2022 and will follow our school year calendar. Enrollment opens 3/8/2021.
The program runs Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday and will be limited to 15 children.
All programming will be taught by licensed professionals or trained assistants. Each pod will participate in monthly theme-based hands-on STEAM, history, self/community based units with learning objectives. Opportunities for child-led activities and participation in topics of study is encouraged.
Schedule
The Adventure Club runs Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Tuesday/Wednesday Location: On Site Campus
9:00 a.m.: Movement Class or Social Time
10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.: STEAM class
*Tuesdays and Wednesdays are drop off
Thursday Location: Cincinnati Nature Center
9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
*Children will need to be accompanied by a caregiver. Families are responsible for their own admission into CNC.
We will enjoy a weekly nature hike and explore the great outdoors.
Tuition
Enrollment in the Adventure Club begins with a registration application accompanied with a $25 registration fee per family.
Monthly tuition for the program is:
Pre-K - 2: $275
Grades 3 - 8: $300
There is a 10% off multi-child discount.
Participants must also purchase their own CNC membership.
The Adventure Club
does not accept the John Peterson or Autism Scholarship.
a la carte classes
Although this program does not include instruction for the core academic areas, families can enroll in our personalized reading, writing, math, sessions.
These are scheduled 1:1 sessions with a licensed general, special, or gifted education teacher. We offer flexible scheduling & varied rates. Depending on the frequency and intensity of services prices ranges from $25 / hour - $125 / hour.
Any 8 week a la carte class can be added for $175 / session. See our "A LA CARTE" options under Services.
